Well I have been working on the Bismarck, but nothing to fancy to show just yet. Match parts up, marking locations for improvements and PE parts, checking fit and seams as well as writing out a plan format for progressive build instructions. I also made a list of just how much detail I will add and stick to it. I find that this keeps the project going smoothly and keep one sane. Once things start coming together, I will show some photos and do a Build Review of this project. Need to give everyone more interesting things to read here...LOL. Best regards, Dan

Posts: 82 (12 August, 2007 11:02:35) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I haven't been getting much done on my Lex the past couple of weeks. I ordered all the planes for it this week. I'm not looking forward to putting 60+ planes together. Heres how much I got done so far. Yesterday I put another coat of stain on the deck to darken it up some more. Also I was working on the elevator shaft, whitening the walls and putting the deck markings on elevator itself. I'm debating on buying new 5" guns from L'Arsenal, I have to wait and see how the kit ones look. I do have a question for Martin. Where did you get the small boats along the funnel for your back dated Saratoga? Ill post some more progress pics when I get a little further along. Hopefully I can get those Indy pics in like a promised. Jeremy

I don't envy you at all with all the aircraft, it's the most dreaded part of carriers for me and I'm sure alot of others. Sometimes I just want to build modern carriers and clean the decks and run the sprinklers...LOL. Maybe you could sub out the building of the aircraft to a wing nut that loves putting them together. Haven't made much progress on the planking the Bismarck. In fact, I just brought the model back to my office and started working on it again yesterday, after a concentrating on trying to get these two models done: The Illinois just needs to be rigged and dullcoated, the Gneisenau needs her seaplane, radar then weathering. Jeremy, I can't stop raving about your Lex - that is some awesome work!!
