Posts: 328 28 March, 2008 16:58:32	Tags : None Remove this ad I have used GMM exclusively for a while now, but have heard many good things about WEM's sets. I need a good set of PE for the Bismarck project, but need it to be as complete as possible without the need for multiple sets or additional frets so as to keep a "cap" on the level of detail going into the project so it actually gets done sometime in the near future...LOL. So, for all you guys and girls out there, which set would you recommend that gives you the broadest spectrum for the money? Thanks in advance. Best regards, Dan

Posts: 125 7 April, 2008 11:26:42	Okay...very strange. Last week the board wouldn't let me in and prompted me for a new password. Now today it lets me in with my old password. Ack!! Anyway...to the question at hand. I have the GMM set for the Bismark/Tirpitz, and it's very nice. However, I think the WEM fret may be more extensive, and give you great "bang for your buck". The only drawback is the dollar is running so far behind the pound right now, that you need 2 bucks for every pound. Still, it looks like a great set: Picture 1 Picture 2 WEM also makes a supplemental set for Kreigsmarine portholes, which I used in addition to the GMM portholes on my Bismark. HTH.

I think it was do to the switch from ezboard to Yuku, but I think most of the change has ironed out the wrinkles now. Posts: 82 17 April, 2008 09:13:43	I dont think you can go wrong with the WEM set. It has more detail for the bulkheads then the GMM set. The light AA weapons set from WEM was such a big improvement over the kits. I have some pictures at photobucket of the light AA weapons also.
